Privacy Policy
This policy covers the Symphony OBS Plugin, Symphony Mobile, beta signup, and related support services.
Local media processing
Symphony processes selected cameras, microphones, applications, screens, characters, overlays, and composed canvases on participating devices. A contributor sends the selected completed canvas to an authorized OBS host. The host decides how that contribution is used in the final OBS production.
Connection security
Symphony connections are designed around authenticated invitations, authorization, revocation, encrypted transport, and bounded reconnection. Final public documentation will identify any Symphony infrastructure involved in signaling or relay before release.
Information stored on your device
Symphony may store settings, layouts, selected sources, trusted-device information, pairing state, local recordings, thumbnails, and diagnostic preferences. Local information remains until you remove it, clear the product’s data, or uninstall the product.
Accounts and Mobile purchases
Symphony Mobile may use Firebase Authentication for sign-in. Symphony stores the minimum identifiers, entitlement status, and purchase-token linkage needed to verify and restore a permanent Pro upgrade. Google Play handles payment-card information and retains its own order history. The free Symphony OBS Plugin has no commercial entitlement.
Protected capture
Android, operating systems, and individual applications may block capture. Symphony does not bypass protected surfaces, DRM, blocked audio, or applications that refuse capture.
Diagnostics and support
Diagnostics are designed to exclude captured media, recordings, thumbnails, speech text, credentials, pairing codes, and private network addresses. When you use the contact form, Symphony receives the information you enter and retains it only as needed to respond, troubleshoot, prevent abuse, document legal requests, or meet applicable requirements.
Open beta signup
When you request Symphony Mobile beta access, Symphony receives and stores the email address you submit for beta invitations, related communication, abuse prevention, withdrawal requests, and applicable legal requirements.
Retention and deletion
Account and purchase-link records are retained while needed to provide licensing, restore purchases, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, or meet legal requirements. Local product data remains until removed or the product is uninstalled. Contact Symphony to request deletion of beta or support information.
