Windows blocks or warns about the installer

Confirm the installer came from the authoritative Entourage release card. The beta may show a Windows reputation warning when the executable is not code-signed.

The first speech takes longer

The bundled Kokoro model warms up locally. Generation time depends on CPU speed and text length; the runtime stays warm while Entourage remains open.

A character is missing or looks wrong

Open its Character Viewer and select the intended preset. Verify the saved model and appearance in Preview. If a switching speaker has the wrong framing, adjust pan, zoom, or rotation while that model is active; Jane and John retain separate framing.

Codex replies do not appear

Use a raw task GUID or complete codex://threads/… link. Entourage watches private local Codex session files for new assistant messages written after watching begins; that storage format can change independently.

A text file is silent

Confirm the selected file still exists and append new text after watching begins. Re-select the file if another program replaced or moved it.

Chat is connected but nobody speaks

In Chat Routing, choose both a default Character Viewer and a character for that platform. Check Pause Chat Intake, viewer mute, animation-only mode, and any username-specific route that may be taking precedence.

Twitch will not authorize

Enter the channel login without @, choose Connect Twitch, open the displayed authorization address, and enter the code. Reconnect if a previous authorization was revoked.

A reward cannot be edited

Twitch allows an application to manage only the custom rewards that application created. Create the replacement from Entourage when it needs to be editable and testable inside Entourage.

A reward sound does not play

Open the reward, confirm the selected WAV or MP3 still exists, use its speaker preview button, and check the reward sound volume. Each reward links to one local audio file.

The stage feels slow

Use Settings to reduce window size, graphics quality, or frame cap. Large viewer counts, high resolution, active 3D rendering, and CPU speech synthesis all affect responsiveness.
