AZ ACCOUNT SECURITY

Protected sign-in without password sharing.

AZ Account authentication is handled by Google Firebase Authentication, a managed identity service.

Google, Microsoft, and Twitch sign-in

Your provider authenticates you directly. Aurora does not receive or store your Google, Microsoft, or Twitch password.

Email and password fallback

Email and password credentials are submitted directly to Firebase Authentication. Aurora does not maintain a separate password database.

Account access

After sign-in, Firebase issues a short-lived, signed identity token. Aurora services validate that token before returning private AZ Account characters or account information.

One account, multiple sign-in methods

When providers are linked, each sign-in method opens the same AZ Account so characters, purchases, and entitlements remain together.
